Tomato Basil Chicken

Make this delicious Tomato Basil Chicken for a hearty meal. Pair it with some steamed rice, noodles or pasta to make it even more filling.

Boneless Chicken Breast - 1 lb

Olive oil - 4 tbsp

Garlic - 1 tsp (Minced)

Tomatoes - 1 cup (Chopped)

Butter - 4 tbsp

Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp

Basil - a handful (chopped)


Pound the chicken breast to even thickness.

Heat olive oil in a  pan.

Once the oil is hot, transfer the chicken breast in the pan and cook them from both the sides until nicely browned and cooked through.Remove them on a plane.

Add garlic in the pan and fry for  a few seconds.

Add tomatoes and broth and cook until tomatoes gets mushy.

Add butter and cream and cook for another minute.

Add the cooked chicken in the pan and coat with the sauce.

Add basil and mix well.

Serve hot with rice or paste.
