Fifty-three years ago, the Red Hat Cooperative was formed by farmers with a shared vision: to harness new technology and the prairie sun in the growing of flavourful, premium produce. Today that vision culminates in Big Marble Farms, where next generation grower families strive to improve on the quality and high standards Canadians expect from Southern Alberta-Grown produce.
Much more than a new name and a new brand, Big Marble Farms is the culmination of a years-long organizational and structural revisioning. While we remain true to our prairie roots and cooperative family heritage, we have retooled our business model and operational protocols to align with current and future produce marketing and distribution systems.
Behind the Big Marble Farms brand is a highly organized network of family-owned and operated commercial greenhouse farms, running in unison to grow the finest varieties of premium produce, all year round!
